The Taylor's & Company Pedersoli 1886 Journey is a modern lever-action hunting rifle made by Pedersoli to Taylor's specifications, reviving the classic Winchester Model 1886 platform in the 45-70 Government caliber. The compact 19" barrel is finished in a durable Black Cerakote and is threaded at the muzzle for the installation of a muzzle device, while the matching Black Cerakote receiver is drilled and tapped to accept optics or scope base mounting hardware.

Featuring a lever action with a larger loop lever for easy cycling with gloved hands, this rifle feeds from a 5+1 tubular magazine and is chambered for the legendary .45-70 Government cartridge, making it a capable field tool for medium to large game. Controls include a tang safety, and the sighting system pairs a fast-pickup fiber optic front sight with a precise peep rear sight. The 1:18" twist rate is well-suited to the heavy-bullet loads favored in this chambering.

The stock is a tough synthetic design dressed in a camouflage pattern and fitted with an adjustable cheekrest to help the shooter dial in a proper cheek weld when running an optic. At 7.71 lbs unloaded and an overall length of 37.44", the 1886 Journey is a balanced, packable hunting rifle built for right-handed shooters and ready for the field.
