The Taylor's & Company 1873 Carbine is a traditional, lever-action rifle that revives the iconic profile of the original Winchester Model 1873 - the "Gun That Won the West" - in a more compact, carbine-length format. Chambered in .357 Magnum, this rifle pairs the smooth, time-tested lever action of the late 19th century with the modern versatility of a widely available handgun cartridge.
Built around a color case-hardened steel receiver and a 19" round blued barrel, the 1873 Carbine sheds weight and length compared to the standard rifle variant while preserving the classic styling that made the original famous. The traditional walnut stock completes the period-correct silhouette, and the carbine measures 37.88" overall with a weight of 7.48 lbs. A blade front sight pairs with a ladder rear sight for classic iron-sight shooting.
This Carbine model feeds from a tubular magazine holding 10+1 rounds of .357 Mag, giving shooters plenty of capacity for plinking, cowboy action competition, or casual range sessions. Designed for right-handed shooters and built on Taylor's proven lever action, the 1873 Carbine is equally at home on the range, in the field, or as a centerpiece of any Old West or cowboy-action collection.
