The Taurus Tracker 992 is a convertible medium-frame revolver built around Taurus's quick-swap cylinder system, letting the shooter switch between .22 LR and .22 WMR in seconds. Two interchangeable 9-shot cylinders are included, so this revolver handles quiet rimfire plinking and more potent .22 Magnum loads without tools.

A 4" barrel, an 8.80" overall length, and a balanced 40 oz weight give the Tracker 992 a controllable feel at the range or in the field. The medium stainless steel frame carries a non-reflective matte stainless finish on the frame, barrel, and cylinder for weather resistance and snag-free carry. A double-action/single-action trigger is paired with an exposed hammer for easy single-action cocking, and the revolver points naturally with a fixed front sight and an adjustable rear sight.

Taurus's signature Black Ribber grip wraps the frame with a soft, patterned rubber overmold that holds up to weather and keeps a secure hold at the bench or on the move. With both cylinders shipped in the box and ready to use, the Tracker 992 is a practical single-platform solution for personal protection and sport shooting.
