The Taurus Tracker 627 is a medium-frame double-action/single-action revolver designed for sport shooting and personal protection. Chambered for .357 Magnum, it also cycles .38 Special +P, giving shooters magnum punch when they want it and the milder recoil of the shorter case for long practice sessions.

A 6.5" ported barrel sits at the front of the package, topped by a fixed front sight and an adjustable rear sight for a precise sight picture at varied distances. Factory-tuned porting and a gas expansion chamber work together to tame muzzle rise and felt recoil during rapid strings of fire. An exposed hammer lets the shooter thumb-cock the gun for crisp single-action shots, while the smooth double-action trigger handles quick follow-ups at close range.

Built around a matte stainless steel frame, barrel, and cylinder, the 627 is engineered to shrug off the rigors of range work and weather in the field. The 7-shot cylinder delivers a healthy round count for sport shooting or home defense. A transfer bar safety helps prevent accidental discharge, and Black Ribber overmolded grips fit the hand comfortably while soaking up recoil across long shooting sessions.

At 40 oz unloaded and 10.75" overall, the Tracker 627 balances nicely for both freehand shooting and rested work from a bench. The included scope mount makes it easy to add optics for longer-range shooting applications.
