The Taurus Raging Hunter is a large-frame, big-bore hunting revolver chambered in 460 S&W Mag, engineered around a single/double-action mechanism for serious field and range use. This configuration pairs an 8.37" matte black oxide-finished barrel - sleeved for added strength and rigidity - with a matching matte black oxide cylinder, while the frame is rendered in matte stainless steel for long-term corrosion resistance in tough hunting conditions.

The revolver holds 5 rounds in its cylinder, tips the scales at 57 oz, and stretches to an overall length of 15" - giving shooters the mass, balance, and sight radius needed for accurate shot placement at extended distances. An exposed hammer allows the shooter to take full advantage of SA/DA operation, with crisp single-action fire for deliberate shots and a usable double-action pull for rapid follow-ups. A fixed front blade is paired with an adjustable rear sight, and the topstrap carries a Picatinny optics rail; a factory scope mount is included so the gun can be set up for long-range shooting right out of the box.

Shooter comfort is addressed with the Raging Hunter's signature black rubber grips featuring an integrated cushion insert, which help soak up the punishing recoil of the 460 S&W Mag cartridge.
