The Taurus Raging Hunter in 460 S&W Magnum is a purpose-built big-bore hunting revolver designed to deliver magnum-class performance in a durable, controllable package. Built on a double-action/single-action platform with an exposed hammer, this 5-round revolver pairs serious stopping power with the ported-barrel technology Taurus engineered around this platform.

A 6.75" sleeved barrel and matching cylinder wear a matte black oxide finish for corrosion resistance and reduced glare in the field. The barrel is factory ported and incorporates a gas-expansion chamber that helps tame muzzle rise for faster, more accurate follow-up shots under the heavy recoil of 460 S&W Mag. The large stainless steel frame carries a matte stainless finish, giving the revolver a striking two-tone appearance while adding strength where it counts most.

The Raging Hunter is fitted with a fixed front sight and an adjustable rear sight for precision at distance, and ships ready to accept optics thanks to the included scope mount. Black rubber grips with an integrated cushion insert absorb felt recoil and provide a secure, comfortable hold under real-world shooting conditions.
