The Taurus Raging Hunter is a large-frame hunting revolver chambered in .44 Remington Magnum, purpose-built for big-game handgun hunting and hard-recoil recreational shooting. Sized as a true six-shooter around a long 6.75" barrel, the Raging Hunter gives the shooter the sight radius and muzzle energy needed for medium-range hunting work.

The action is classic double-action / single-action with an exposed hammer for deliberate thumb-cocking, letting the shooter choose between a long, smooth DA pull for close work and a crisp single-action press for precise shot placement at distance. Sights are a traditional fixed blade front paired with an adjustable rear, and the topstrap carries an integrated scope mount so an optic can be bolted on straight out of the box with no gunsmithing required.

Construction is all steel: a matte black oxide frame and cylinder paired with a black anodized barrel, giving the Raging Hunter its non-reflective hunting-ready finish and an overall weight of approximately 53 oz at an overall length of 12.60".
