The Taurus GX2 T.O.R.O. brings optic-ready capability to the company's affordable, carry-friendly GX2 platform. T.O.R.O. — Taurus Optic Ready Option — means the slide is machined with an RMSc footprint, so a wide range of popular shield-pattern micro red dots and reflex sights mount directly without adapter plates. The slide is finished in matte black alloy steel with serrations for press checks and manipulations.

A compact 3.38" stainless steel barrel is housed in the slide, paired with a matte black stainless steel frame that integrates a Picatinny accessory rail under the dust cover for a weapon light or laser. The pistol uses a single-action-only, striker-fired action fed by a flush-fit 13-round magazine (one included), and ships with white-dot sights. Taurus builds in three redundant safeties — a manual safety, a striker block, and a trigger safety — for confident carry.
