Built around an all-stainless steel frame with a coordinated matte stainless finish on the barrel and cylinder, the 942 pairs double-action/single-action operation with an exposed hammer for easy single-action cocking. The 2" barrel keeps the overall length to a pocketable 6.60", while the revolver tips the scales at 23.60 oz, balancing .22 Magnum recoil without weighing down a belt or pocket.
