Taurus 856 T.O.R.O. 38 Special +P 3" 6-Shot DA/SA Revolver - Matte Stainless

The Taurus 856 T.O.R.O. is a compact, optics-ready double-action/single-action revolver built around a small stainless steel frame and chambered in 38 Special +P. The "T.O.R.O." stands for Taurus Optic Ready Option, with the top of the frame factory-cut to accept a micro red-dot sight. Traditional removable front and fixed rear iron sights are also in place, so the gun shoots fine straight out of the box and offers a clean upgrade path to an optic.

Sized for everyday concealed carry and home defense, the 856 pairs a 3" barrel with a 6-shot cylinder for a slim, easy-carry profile that still puts a useful defensive round count on the belt. The exposed hammer lets the shooter thumb-cock the gun for a lighter, more precise single-action press, while the transfer-bar safety keeps the firing pin blocked unless the trigger is fully pulled.

All major metalwork - barrel, cylinder, and frame - is finished in matte stainless steel for corrosion resistance and easy cleaning, and the revolver wears a contoured black rubber grip shaped for positive recoil control with +P loads. Overall length is 7.50" and the revolver tips the scales at 23.50 oz.
