The Taurus 856 Executive Grade is a premium six-shot double-action-only revolver built on a small-frame platform for personal defense and concealed carry. Chambered in 38 Special +P, it pairs a compact 3-inch barrel with a hand-polished satin stainless finish across the barrel, cylinder, and frame for a refined look that still rides comfortably under a jacket.

Construction is all stainless steel, giving the Executive Grade the heft and recoil management that have made small-frame Taurus revolvers a long-time concealed-carry standard. The concealed hammer keeps the profile snag-free and locks the action to DAO operation for a streamlined trigger in defensive use. A serrated blade front sight and traditional fixed rear sight provide a clean sight picture for both quick pointing and aimed fire.

The Executive Grade upgrade over the standard 856 Defender shows up in the Altamont wood grips and the hand-tuned action, giving the shooter a smoother double-action pull and even cylinder timing. The revolver weighs 25 ounces unloaded and measures 7.5 inches overall, slotting neatly into the small-frame carry category.
