Taurus 856 38 Special +P 2" 6-Shot Revolver - CA Compliant

The Taurus 856 is a compact small-frame revolver chambered in 38 Special +P, purpose-built as a lightweight concealed-carry or backup gun that still delivers six shots of firepower from a slim profile.

Built by Taurus on a stainless steel small frame with a matching matte stainless cylinder and a 2" matte stainless barrel, the 856 weighs just 22 oz and measures only 6.55" overall. The double-action/single-action mechanism pairs with an exposed hammer for deliberate single-action fire, while a transfer-bar safety provides a safe carry mode.

A 6-shot cylinder feeds the +P-rated chambering for proven stopping performance. Sights are a removable serrated blade up front and a fixed rear, and black finger-grooved rubber grips fill the hand while taming recoil. The matte stainless finish shrugs off holster wear and keeps glare down during daily carry.
