The Taurus 605 is a compact, snub-nosed DA/SA revolver purpose-built for concealed carry and personal defense. Chambered for both .357 Magnum and .38 Special +P, the Model 605 pairs a potent magnum cylinder with a lightweight profile suited for everyday carry.

Built around a small alloy steel frame, the 605 features a 2" barrel and a 5-shot cylinder, both finished in matte black oxide. The double-action/single-action action lets the shooter run the trigger long for fast close-range work or cock the hammer for a precise single-action press. An exposed hammer allows traditional thumb-cocking and single-action fire, while the integrated transfer bar safety blocks the firing pin unless the trigger is fully pressed.

A set of black finger-grooved rubber grips provides positive control and recoil absorption, even with full-house .357 Magnum loads. Fixed iron sights - a blade front and rear notch - keep the package snag-free for everyday carry. The revolver weighs approximately 24 oz and measures just 6.50" overall, making it a natural choice for pocket or inside-the-waistband carry.
