The Taurus 1911 FS is a full-size, single-action semi-automatic pistol chambered in 45 ACP. Built on the classic Government Model profile, this pistol delivers the traditional 1911 ergonomics, balance, and recoil management, and is regularly cited as a budget-friendly entry point into the 1911 platform for first-time buyers, range shooters, and home-defense users.

A steel frame carries a subdued blued / matte black finish that holds up well under range and carry use. The 5" barrel drives full-power 45 ACP loads while the full-size slide stretches the sight radius for improved down-range accuracy.
