The Taran Tactical Firepower Base Pad Kit is a precision-machined magazine extension built for Glock 17 and Glock 22 pistol magazines. This aftermarket base pad increases your magazine capacity by +5 rounds of .40 S&W or +6 rounds of 9mm Luger, depending on which caliber magazine it is installed on.

CNC-machined from billet aluminum and finished in a durable hard anodized black coating, the Firepower base pad is built for hard use at the range, on duty, or in competition. The kit includes an upgraded magazine spring engineered to reliably feed the additional rounds to the chamber.

Beyond added capacity, the extended footprint gives your support hand a larger surface for faster, more positive magazine changes under stress and helps ensure full, consistent seating during tactical reloads. Designed as a direct fit for Glock 9/40 full-size flush-fit magazines.
