The Tapco Double Coated Rifle Rod (TAP22079) is a rigid 36" cleaning rod purpose-built for .270 Cal and up on the AR platform. Designed to deliver maximum bore protection, this rod clears fouling without scratching or wearing the rifling of larger-caliber centerfire rifle barrels.

Manufactured to tight tolerances, the rod is heat-treated, centerless ground, micro-polished, and finished to a mirror polish for an ultra-smooth surface that glides through the bore with minimal resistance.
