Sylvan Arms SA5 Pro Gen 5 AR Right-Folding Stock Adapter - Black

The Sylvan Arms SA5 Pro Gen 5 right-folding stock adapter is part of the Folding Stock Adaptor series and allows the stock assembly on a compatible AR-pattern rifle or pistol to fold toward the ejection-port side for more compact storage and transport. Made in the USA, this SA5P-R adapter fits Mil-Spec AR-15 rifles and pistols and most AR-10 builds.

The adapter is CNC-machined from 4140 steel, finished in black, and weighs 9.4 oz. Its Generation 5 design uses an adjustable-tension hinge, an improved locking mechanism, an improved hardened buffer-retaining pin, and two QD sling-attachment points. The user-serviceable assembly has standard 1-3/16"-16 threading. Sylvan Arms describes this design as 250% stronger than its fourth-generation adapter.

Compatibility extends from 223/5.56 through 308, including 300 Blackout and most 9mm configurations. For 9mm use, bolt carriers with a standard 5/8" internal diameter can use the included extension after the carrier's rear pin and weight are removed. This adapter is not compatible with Tippmann .22, LWRC, or Extar EP9 firearms.

Installation does not require disassembling the adapter, and no additional parts are needed with a standard AR-15 bolt-carrier group. The package includes the SA5 Pro adapter, a 1045 steel bolt-carrier extension, a castle-nut wrench, and the tools necessary for installation. This accessory is offered in New condition.
