Sylvan Arms SA5 Pro Gen 5 AR-15 Left-Folding Stock Adapter - Black

The Sylvan Arms SA5 Pro Gen 5 Left-Folding Stock Adapter, from the Folding Stock Adaptor series, allows the existing stock or brace assembly on a compatible AR-pattern rifle or pistol to fold left for more compact storage and transport. Viewed with the firearm pointed downrange, the adapter opens to the left, away from the ejection-port side of a standard AR configuration.

CNC-machined in the USA, the adapter has a black exterior and 4140 steel construction. Its supplied bolt-carrier extension is made from 1045 steel. The 9.4 oz assembly uses standard 1-3/16x16 threading and is compatible with standard AR-15 bolt-carrier groups without additional parts beyond the supplied components.

Compatibility includes mil-spec AR-15s, most AR-10 builds, and platforms configured for 223 Remington/5.56x45mm NATO, 308 Winchester, 300 Blackout, and most 9mm AR applications. For a 9mm carrier with a standard 5/8" internal diameter, the included extension may be used after removing the carrier's rear pin and weight. This adapter is not compatible with Tippmann .22, LWRC, or Extar EP9 firearms.

Gen 5 features include adjustable hinge tension, an improved locking mechanism, a hardened buffer-retaining pin, user-serviceable construction, and two integrated QD sling-attachment points.

Supplied in New condition, the package includes the 1045 steel bolt-carrier extension, castle-nut wrench, and the tools and components required for installation. This product is a folding adapter, not a stock or firearm.
