The Strike Industries TRIBUS Enhanced Castle Nut and Extended End Plate is a drop-in AR-15 lower parts upgrade that pairs a lengthened anti-rotation steel castle nut with an extended 6061-T6 aluminum end plate. The TRIBUS adds two additional push-button QD sockets for a total of three quick-detach sling mounting points (center, left, and right) so the shooter can run a single-point or two-point sling on either side of the rifle.

The steel castle nut features an anti-walk design that holds position without staking, and both the castle nut and the extended end plate are finished in red hardcoat anodizing for a durable, low-glare surface. The end plate's side QD mounts are pushed back to clear the shooter's support-hand webbing for a more comfortable grip when a sling is attached, and a machined groove on the plate simplifies installation and removal.

The TRIBUS fits AR-15 and AR-10 pattern lower receivers using a standard carbine receiver extension/buffer tube, and the steel nut is lengthened to support more of the buffer tube's threaded area. A minimum of 30mm (1.18") of thread length on the receiver extension is required, and the castle nut torque should not exceed 35 ft/lbs.
