Strike Industries Tribus Enhanced Castle Nut & Extended End Plate AR-15/AR-10 - Blue

The Strike Industries Tribus Enhanced Castle Nut & Extended End Plate is a drop-in upgrade for the standard AR-15 and AR-10 castle nut and end plate. Machined from aluminum alloy and finished in blue hardcoat anodized, it adds corrosion resistance, a custom look, and a more secure buffer-tube retention system than the factory part.

The Tribus features an anti-rotation design that locks the castle nut firmly to the receiver extension, eliminating the walk and loosening common with standard castle nuts under hard use. The castle nut itself has been lengthened to support more of the receiver extension's threaded area, while the extended end plate increases contact surface for a more secure installation across the back of the lower receiver.

Three integrated quick-detach (QD) sling sockets provide ambidextrous mounting points for QD sling swivels, letting the user configure a one- or two-point sling setup without adding extra rail accessories. Installation requires a minimum of 30mm (1.18 in) of thread on the receiver extension / buffer tube, and the castle nut should be torqued to no more than 35 ft-lbs.
