The Strike Industries Mass Driver Compensator (MDC) is a purpose-built muzzle device engineered specifically for the Glock 17 Gen 5 chambered in 9mm. Machined from steel and finished in black, the MDC redirects muzzle gases upward to dramatically reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise, helping the shooter stay on target for faster follow-up shots.
The compensator features a widened bore to help prevent baffle strikes and keyholing, while a 2.5mm relief cut at the top of the rear face adds clearance for reliable cycling with a wide range of projectile profiles. Overall dimensions come in at approximately 1.66" long, 1.03" wide, and 1.43" tall, adding purposeful mass up front without making the pistol front-heavy.
This is the Standard (full-size) variant of the Mass Driver Comp system, intended for Glock 17 Gen 5 pistols. Because the MDC replaces the factory recoil spring assembly, the complete kit ships with everything required for installation:
