Strike Industries AR Mil-Spec Buffer Housing 6061-T6 Aluminum Red Anodized

The Strike Industries AR Mil-Spec Buffer Housing is a drop-in replacement end cap for the AR-15 lower receiver, designed to retain the buffer and spring inside a Mil-Spec carbine or standard buffer tube. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in a red hardcoat anodized coating, it gives builders a cost-effective way to add a touch of color to the rear of the lower while keeping full functional compatibility with the rest of the platform.

This buffer housing is built specifically to fit Mil-Spec standard and Mil-Spec carbine length receiver extensions / buffer tubes, and it accepts Mil-Spec buffers. It measures 83.15 mm in length and installs in place of the factory housing using the existing castle nut staking. As with all Strike Industries buffer housings, buffer weights and spacers are not included; this listing is for the housing only.
