The Strike Industries Ambidextrous Magazine Release is a drop-in upgrade for any mil-spec AR-15 or M16 lower receiver built to accept a standard magazine catch. Machined from aluminum and finished in a bright red anodized coating, this low-profile, ergonomically designed mag catch lets both right- and left-handed shooters drop the magazine quickly with either thumb without breaking their firing grip.

The ambidextrous lever mirrors the factory magazine release on the left side of the receiver, giving the operator a second paddle for positive magazine release from either side of the rifle. Its improved geometry drops into any receiver designed to accept a mil-spec magazine catch, requiring no permanent modifications to the lower - a straightforward swap for builders and end users alike.
