The Strike Industries Advanced Receiver Extension is a 7-position Mil-Spec diameter buffer tube machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in a durable blue hardcoat anodized coating. Designed as a direct-fit upgrade for any standard AR-15 lower receiver, this Advanced Receiver Extension also drops onto AR-10 platforms using a Mil-Spec threaded receiver extension, bringing improved aesthetics, finer length-of-pull adjustment, and a supported buffer retainer to your modern sporting rifle.

Built around the standard Mil-Spec tube diameter of 1.145", the Advanced Receiver Extension threads onto any standard castle nut and provides seven precise positions of adjustment for length of pull - so you can dial in your preferred cheek weld and stock reach. The supported buffer retainer design keeps your buffer spring and weight properly captured during disassembly and field maintenance, a meaningful reliability upgrade over standard Mil-Spec tubes. Please note this buffer tube is not compatible with rifle-length buffers or springs.
