The Streamlight TLR-8 X G Sub is a purpose-built, rail-mounted weapon light engineered exclusively for the Springfield Armory Hellcat. It throws 500 lumens of white light from a C4 LED with a focused 141-meter beam and 5,000 candela peak intensity, paired with a daylight-visible 510-530 nm green aiming laser for fast target acquisition in any lighting condition.

The unit runs on a single CR123A lithium battery (and is multi-fuel compatible with the SL-B26 rechargeable pack) for a runtime of 1.5 hours. Three operating modes - LED only, LED/laser combo, and laser only - are controlled by ambidextrous rear paddle switches that work naturally for both right- and left-handed shooters. Streamlight's one-handed snap-on and tighten rail clamp interface lets you mount or remove the light without placing your hands in front of the muzzle.
