The Streamlight TLR-8 HL-X G sub is a compact, rail-mounted pistol light engineered specifically for 1913 short railed subcompact handguns. It pushes 1,000 lumens of white light and pairs it with an integrated, daylight-visible green aiming laser designed for fast target identification and instinctive aiming in low-light defensive scenarios.

The housing is machined from black anodized aluminum, weighing just 2.87 oz with the SL-B9 battery installed while standing up to daily carry and slide recoil. The LED throws a reaching 200 m beam at a peak intensity of 10,000 candela, with a default runtime of 30 minutes and a user-programmable strobe for tactical use. The integrated green laser works alongside the LED for quick, point-and-shoot aiming.

Power is supplied by Streamlight's SL-B9 rechargeable battery, charged in-light through a built-in USB-C port so the cell never has to be removed. A standard CR123A primary cell can be substituted in a pinch for maximum versatility. The light body is sealed to an IPX4 water-resistance rating, so rain and splashes are no problem.
