The Streamlight Sidewinder Compact III Military is an ultra-compact, hands-free tactical flashlight engineered for military, law enforcement, and tactical professionals who need reliable illumination without occupying a hand. This "light only" configuration ships as the bare flashlight with no mount included, allowing the user to pair it with a compatible Streamlight helmet, MOLLE, or NVG mount (sold separately). The primary beam is a 55-lumen white C4 LED with a runtime of approximately 6 hours on high and 70 hours on low, a beam distance of 69 meters, and a peak intensity of 1,175 candela. A secondary IR LED operating at a 940nm peak wavelength provides covert illumination for use with night vision devices, with a 50,000-hour LED lifetime.

The Sidewinder Compact III features a 185-degree tilting head that lets the user aim the beam exactly where it is needed without repositioning the entire light body. The multi-fuel battery compartment accepts either a single AA Lithium battery or a single CR123A lithium battery, giving operators flexibility in the field to standardize on whatever cell is already in the supply chain.

Built to withstand harsh field conditions, the Sidewinder Compact III carries an IPX7 waterproof rating to 1 meter for 30 minutes and is 3-meter impact-resistance tested. The light is built to MIL-STD-810H, Method 512.6 environmental durability standards. The housing is finished in coyote tan for low-visibility military and tactical applications.
