The Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount 1L-X is a compact, multi-fuel tactical weapon light built for rifles, carbines, and short-barreled firearms. It produces 500 lumens on high and a useable 100 lumens on low, giving operators the throw needed for positive identification at distance and a softer beam for close work without ruining dark-adapted vision.

At the core of the 1L-X is Streamlight's multi-fuel design. The light runs on widely available CR123A lithium batteries and is also compatible with the company's rechargeable SL-B9 battery pack, so users can standardize on rechargeables without giving up the option to run on primary cells in the field. On high, the LED delivers 18,000 candela with roughly a 268-meter beam distance for confident identification well past 200 yards. On low, the unit produces 3,400 candela and a 117-meter beam, ideal for navigation, map reading, or working indoors without flooding the room with light.

The light clamps directly to any M1913 Picatinny rail with a secure, low-profile mount that does not crowd other rail accessories. A push-button tail cap provides momentary or constant-on activation from a support-hand grip, and the unit is fully compatible with Streamlight's remote pressure switch for carbines and PDWs with shorter forends. TEN-TAP programmability lets the user select between high/strobe, high only, or low/high activation sequences to match the mission.

Built for hard use, the ProTac Rail Mount 1L-X carries an IPX7 waterproof rating with the standard tail cap (IPX4 when paired with the optional remote pressure switch) and is rated 2-meter impact resistant. Its compact footprint makes it at home on AR-pattern rifles, short-barreled carbines, PCCs, and sub-machine gun platforms, where it adds serious illumination without dominating the handguard.
