The Streamlight ProTac HL-X USB is a high-output, rail-mounted tactical long gun light delivering up to 1000 lumens of white LED illumination in a rugged, low-profile package purpose-built for carbines, rifles and shotguns.

This multi-fuel weapon light ships with a Streamlight SL-B26 rechargeable Li-ion battery that charges inside the light via the integrated USB port, while still accepting two CR123A primary cells for field flexibility. TEN-TAP programmable switching lets the user select from three operating modes - High, Low, or Strobe - for activation tailored to the mission or environment.

The fixed mounting lug clamps directly to MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) rails and ships with an M-LOK mounting adapter for direct attachment to M-LOK handguards. The body is machined from 6000 series aluminum with a matte black anodized finish and is rated waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes (IPX7), so the light shrugs off rain, stream crossings and hard field use.

At full power the HL-X USB produces 50,000 candela of peak beam intensity and reaches out to 447 meters, with run times ranging from approximately 75 minutes on High down to an extended 18 hours on the 60-lumen Low setting. Overall length is 5.43" and weight is just 6.90 oz, keeping the light well-balanced on the host firearm without overwhelming the rail.
