The Streamlight TLR-1 HL-X is a high-output, rail-mounted tactical weapon light delivering a powerful 1000-lumen beam of white LED light from a compact, duty-ready housing. Machined from 6000 series aircraft aluminum with a hard black anodized finish, the TLR-1 HL-X is built to handle the recoil and abuse of professional and defensive use while keeping weight to approximately 5.2 ounces at an overall length of 3.45 inches.

On its high setting the light produces 15,000 candela for a maximum beam reach of 245 meters, with a continuous runtime of 1.5 hours. The TLR-1 HL-X uses a multi-fuel design, running on widely available CR123A lithium primary batteries while also accepting the Streamlight SL-B9 rechargeable Li-ion pack for users who prefer rechargeable power. A front-loading battery compartment lets the operator swap cells without removing the light from the firearm.

Controls are intuitive and ambidextrous, with momentary and constant-on switches accessible from either side of the body for instant activation under stress. The light attaches via Streamlight's rail-clamp system with an integrated safety latch that keeps the light firmly secured to the rail during heavy recoil, and the housing is rated waterproof for reliable performance in adverse conditions.
