The Steyr Arms ATC Base in 9mm Luger is a full-size, sport-oriented competition semi-auto pistol built by Steyr Arms, the Austrian manufacturer of high-precision firearms since 1864. Designed as the entry point into the ATC competition family, the Base pairs a 5-inch barrel with a 20+1-round capacity in a purpose-built platform ready for the range, USPSA/IPSC-style shooting, and competition use.

At the core of the ATC Base is a DA/SA trigger - a heavier double-action first pull followed by shorter, lighter single-action resets for fast, controlled follow-up shots. The full stainless steel frame and slide are finished in a corrosion-resistant nitrocarburized black coating and dressed with lightening cuts, front and rear serrations, and an integrated beavertail. The slide is also optic cut (Optic Ready) for compatibility with red-dot adapter plates, while a Picatinny accessory rail is machined into the dustcover for mounting lights or lasers. The frame carries an ambidextrous manual safety, and the pistol wears black polymer grips for a secure, all-weather hold.
