The Stern Defense .45 ACP Barrel is a drop-in replacement barrel purpose-built for dedicated 45 ACP pistol-caliber carbine and AR-style platforms. At 16.10 inches, it gives builders the length needed for a standard carbine-class build while still fitting a wide range of AR handguards and uppers.

The barrel is machined from 4150 Chrome Moly Steel and treated with a Black Melonite finish for corrosion resistance and long service life under hard use. A 1:16 inch rate of twist is well-matched to common 45 ACP projectile weights, and the muzzle is cut with a .578x28 thread pattern for use with 45 ACP-spec muzzle devices and adapters.
