The Steiner Nighthunter H35 is a handheld thermal monocular designed to give shooters, hunters, and outdoor professionals a clear thermal picture in total darkness, smoke, light fog, and other low-visibility conditions. Built around a 640x512 sensor with a 12-micron pixel pitch and Steiner's Quantum Vision image processing, the H35 delivers smooth, high-contrast imagery with fast automatic calibration and selectable thermal color palettes including hot, iron, and blue hot.

The optic pairs a 35mm objective with a broad 2x-16x magnification range and a field of view of 12.50 - 9.40 meters at 100 meters, giving the user a wide scanning view at low power and the ability to zoom in for detailed identification at extended ranges. The unit is rated for detection out to 3300 meters, putting long-distance heat-signature acquisition well within reach.

Power comes from a single 18650 rechargeable Li-ion battery, providing up to 4.5 hours of runtime per charge. Direct-access controls on the housing let the operator adjust magnification, brightness, and color palette without diving through menu layers, so the unit stays intuitive in the field.
