The Steiner M5Xi 5-25x56mm is a flagship long-range precision riflescope from the M-Series, engineered for snipers, designated marksmen, and serious precision rifle shooters working at extended distances. Built around a robust 34mm main tube machined from matte black anodized aluminum, this optic delivers the optical clarity, internal adjustment range, and rugged construction demanded by modern long-range platforms and large-caliber rifles.
At the core of the M5Xi is a First Focal Plane (FFP) illuminated MSR2 reticle - a mil-based hash reticle originally designed for military snipers and now widely adopted in the precision shooting community. The FFP design keeps the reticle subtensions true at every magnification setting, allowing ranging and holdovers to remain accurate whether the shooter is dialed down to 5x for close engagement work or pushed all the way out to a true 25x for distant targets. The illumination system offers 7 night and 4 day brightness settings for visibility in any lighting condition.
The 56mm objective gathers generous light for the multi-coated lens system, and a side focus parallax adjustment allows fine-tuning for crisp, parallax-free reticle alignment at any range. Field of view runs 13.20 - 4.60 ft at 100 yards, eye relief is 3.50" - 4.30", and the exit pupil measures 9.80 - 2.20mm.
Built to take punishment, the M5Xi is fog proof, shockproof, and waterproof, sealed against the elements and rated to handle the recoil of magnum-class cartridges. It measures 16.60" overall and weighs 36.30 oz. The package includes a battery, lens cloth, and lens cover.
Whether running a bolt-action precision rifle, an AR-10/SR-25-pattern semi-auto, or a dedicated long-range platform, the Steiner M5Xi 5-25x56 delivers the magnification range, reticle precision, and rugged build required for accurate shots at distance.
