The Steiner M1050R LRF is a military-grade 10x50 binocular with a fully integrated laser rangefinder, built on a classic Porro prism design for the depth perception and ruggedness serious glassers demand. The replacement for the legendary Military M1050 LRF, this updated "R" version pairs Steiner's combat-proven optics with a powerful IR laser rangefinder capable of measuring distances from 27 yards out to 1,860 yards on reflective targets, with a scan mode for tracking small or moving subjects.

Fully multi-coated optics and Steiner's traditional Porro prism geometry deliver a bright, high-contrast image with a 5.7 degree angular field of view, a 5mm exit pupil, and a 22.4 twilight factor. Close focus is rated at 66 feet, making the M1050R LRF just as useful for surveying terrain features and vehicle inspections as it is for long-range ranging missions.

The housing is nitrogen-filled and sealed against the elements for waterproof and fogproof performance in any climate. Steiner's signature Sports-Auto Focus system sets a single sharp focus from a set distance out to infinity, eliminating the need to re-focus across the ranging envelope. The rangefinder is powered by a single CR123A battery. Overall dimensions run roughly 5.40" long by 3.90" tall, with a weight of about 44.80 oz.
