SSK Firearms SSK-50 Flat Side Stainless Steel T/C Contender Receiver

The SSK-50 is a precision-machined stainless steel receiver from SSK Firearms, built to the nominal geometry of the original Thompson/Center Contender. This flat-sided variant is a serialized receiver only, sold without a barrel or grip, and serves as the foundation for assembling a custom Contender-platform single-shot pistol, carbine, or muzzleloader.

The receiver features a break-action design and is compatible with all T/C Contender G1/G2 barrels, plus compatible grips, stocks, and EABCO aftermarket parts. It is not compatible with first-generation T/C Contender barrels. The flat-sided slab profile gives a clean appearance favored by custom builders and pistolsmiths, and the stainless steel construction provides excellent corrosion resistance for hunting, range, and field use.

Weighing in at 2 lb with overall dimensions of 2.30" x 6.20" x 9.55" (height x width x length), this New production SSK-50 receiver is ready to accept your choice of barrel, grip, and accessories to complete a custom single-shot build.
