The SSK Firearms .44 Magnum barrel is a precision drop-in option for the Thompson/Center Contender and SSK-50 single-shot pistol platforms. Machined from stainless steel with a glass bead finish, this 16.25-inch tube gives hunters, handloaders, and Contender enthusiasts the sight radius and velocity to push .44 Remington Magnum loads to their full potential.

The bore features a 1:16 twist rate well suited to a wide range of jacketed and cast .44 Magnum bullet weights. The muzzle is cut with 11/16" x 24 TPI threads for mounting muzzle accessories, and a matching thread protector is included. The barrel is drilled and tapped for SSK's TSOB scope base with a 0 MOA incline, providing a rigid mounting platform for red dots, scout scopes, and conventional riflescopes. No iron sights are installed, keeping the package dedicated to optic use.

This 16.25" .44 Magnum Contender/SSK-50 barrel is a straightforward way to swap calibers, replace a worn tube, or build out a Contender around a magnum hunting or woods-walking chambering.
