Spyderco Salt 2 Lightweight 3" H1 Steel Clip Point Serrated FRN Yellow Folding Knife

The Spyderco Salt 2 (model C88SYL2) is a purpose-built folder from Spyderco's Lightweight Salt series, engineered for use in and around saltwater, humidity, and other highly corrosive environments where ordinary knife steels would quickly rust and fail.

At its core is a 3" clip point blade ground from H1 steel, a nitrogen-based alloy that is effectively 100% rustproof. The blade carries a clean satin finish and a fully serrated edge that excels at powering through rope, cordage, netting, line, and other fibrous materials commonly encountered on the water or in the field.

Deployment is one-handed via the signature enlarged Spyderco round hole thumb slot. Closing into the high-strength back lock mechanism delivers secure lockup, with a compact 4.25" closed length and a total open length of 7.25". At only 2.10 oz, the Salt 2 disappears in the pocket and is comfortable for all-day carry.

The handle is injection-molded from tough, lightweight FRN (fiberglass-reinforced nylon) in high-visibility Yellow with Spyderco's aggressive Bi-Directional Texturing pattern, giving a confident, slip-resistant grip even when hands are wet or gloved. An ambidextrous design is paired with a reversible pocket clip that supports carry on either side.
