Cutting is handled by a 3.37" full-flat-ground blade cut from CTS BD1 stainless steel and carrying a workhorse satin finish. The leaf-shaped profile flows cleanly into the handle, and the blade is deployed through Spyderco's trademark Round Hole for fast, ambidextrous one-handed opening. A robust Ball Bearing Lock holds the blade positively open during heavy use and releases cleanly with a press of the spring-loaded bearing housing, giving the knife the strength and lockup security of a true hard-use folder.
