At the core of the Amalgam is a broad drop point blade cut from American-made CPM S30V powder-metallurgy stainless steel, a formulation prized for its balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. The PlainEdge blade is full-flat ground for clean slicing performance, with a sharpened edge of 3.40" riding on an overall open length of 8.90" and a closed length of 5.10".

The handle pairs skeletonized stainless steel liners with textured black carbon fiber/G-10 laminate scales, keeping carry weight to just 4.30 oz while preserving structural rigidity.
