The Springfield Armory Model 2020 Waypoint is a purpose-built 7mm Rem Mag bolt-action hunting rifle engineered around a carbon-fiber-wrapped steel barrel and a premium Evergreen camouflage carbon fiber stock. Chambered in the long-action 7mm Remington Magnum and built on a stainless steel action, the Waypoint is designed to deliver the precision and consistency of a custom-grade rifle in a lightweight, field-ready package.

A 24-inch carbon fiber barrel with a 1:8" twist is finished in Mil-Spec Green Cerakote (H-264) for corrosion resistance in tough weather. The muzzle is fitted with the SA Radial Brake for meaningful recoil reduction when running the magnum-class 7mm Rem Mag. The stainless steel receiver wears the same Mil-Spec Green Cerakote finish and ships with no iron sights installed, ready for the shooter to mount their preferred optic on the action.

The user interface is dialed for the field: a crisp, user-adjustable TriggerTech trigger delivers a clean break, and a simple two-position safety provides quick, positive manipulation. The fixed carbon fiber stock is custom-painted in the Evergreen digital camouflage pattern to break up the rifle's outline in timber and across sage country. Capacity runs 3+1 from a flush-fit detachable box magazine, and the right-hand platform measures 46 inches overall at a carry-friendly 8.12 lbs.
