The Springfield Armory Model 2020 Heatseeker in .308 Winchester / 7.62x51mm NATO is a precision bolt-action rifle built around Springfield's custom-grade Model 2020 action. The action uses dual locking lugs and EDM raceways, engineered to deliver impressive .75 MOA accuracy potential in a compact, modular package.

This is the longer-barrel Heatseeker variant, pairing a 20" carbon fiber threaded barrel with a 1:10 twist to keep weight down while preserving the long-range velocity .308 Win shooters expect. The muzzle is fitted with a factory thread protector, ready to accept the suppressor or muzzle device of your choice.

The Model 2020 action sits inside the Sharps Bros Heatseeker chassis, CNC-machined from a solid block of 6061-T6 billet aluminum. This optics-ready platform weighs only about 1 lb. 3 oz. on its own and brings an AR-style modular feel to a traditional bolt-action rifle.

A premium TriggerTech trigger delivers a crisp, clean break, while the Model 2020 stainless steel receiver is built to resist corrosion in the field. The Heatseeker ships configured with a Bravo B5 CPS stock in a coyote brown finish, pairing practical ergonomics with a distinctive look.

Weighing in at 7.10 lbs with an adjustable overall length of 35.50" to 39", the Heatseeker balances well from a prone position and is purpose-built for precision shooting. The action feeds from a 5+1-round detachable box magazine, and the optics-ready chassis is set up for your preferred scope mounting solution. No iron sights are included.
