The Springfield Armory M1A Standard Issue is the civilian-legal, semi-automatic descendant of the legendary U.S. military M14 service rifle. This MA9120 Desert FDE variant pairs the proven .308 Win / 7.62x51mm NATO action with a tactical Flat Dark Earth composite stock and a subdued black Parkerized finish across both the carbon steel barrel and the stainless steel receiver.

At the core of the rifle sits a service-length 22" carbon steel barrel with a 1:11" twist and six grooves, tipped by a factory flash suppressor. The barrel mates to a stainless steel receiver treated with a non-reflective Parkerized coating for corrosion resistance in adverse conditions. A crisp two-stage trigger pairs with an ambidextrous safety, feeding a detachable 10-round box magazine for a 10+1 total capacity.

Traditional iron sighting is handled by a National Match front blade mated to a military-style adjustable rear, and the fixed Flat Dark Earth synthetic stock shrugs off moisture, rot, and rough handling in the field. Overall length measures 44.33" and weight comes in at 8.80 lbs, making this a full-size battle rifle well suited to range duty, competition fields, or anywhere a piece of American rifle history belongs on a modern semi-auto platform.
