Springfield Armory Hellion 5.56x45mm NATO 20" 30+1 Semi-Auto Bullpup Rifle

The Springfield Armory Hellion is a 5.56x45mm NATO semi-automatic bullpup rifle that puts the action and magazine behind the trigger group, pairing a full-length 20" barrel with a short, balanced overall footprint. The rifle is built around a polymer receiver finished in matte black over blued/black metalwork, and is fed by a single 30-round detachable magazine for a total 30+1 capacity. It is rated for both 5.56x45mm NATO and .223 Remington ammunition.

Up front, the Hellion uses a hammer-forged stainless steel barrel with a 1:7" twist, a two-position adjustable gas block, and a four-prong flash hider. Backup iron sights come in the form of flip-up front and rear units. The action is set up for full ambidextrous use, with an ambidextrous safety lever and controls laid out for right- and left-handed shooters alike.

The furniture keeps the rifle mission-ready: a BCM MOD 3 pistol grip, a 5-position adjustable stock with cheek riser, and a bayonet lug at the muzzle end. Overall length runs 32.25" to 33.75" depending on stock position, and the rifle tips the scales at 8.39 lbs.
