The Springfield Armory Echelon 4.5F is a full-size, optics-ready striker-fired duty pistol chambered in 9mm Luger. Built around a 4.5" hammer-forged barrel and a serialized stainless steel chassis, the Echelon pairs modern duty-pistol ergonomics with a modular polymer grip frame. This EC9459BCOA variant ships with a factory-mounted Aimpoint COA red dot optic for fast, instinctive target acquisition right out of the box, making it a turnkey duty, home-defense, and range pistol.

At the heart of the Echelon platform is a serialized stainless steel chassis that houses the fire-control group, paired with an interchangeable black polymer grip module so the shooter can swap frame sizes and grip contours without disassembling the trigger. The black Melonite-finished slide is cut for a direct-mount red dot and is paired with a 4.5" hammer-forged steel barrel that delivers the sight radius and practical accuracy expected of a full-size 9mm duty pistol. Overall length is 8" and empty weight runs approximately 23.9 oz with the flush magazine installed.

The included Aimpoint COA red dot sits low on the slide for a natural, both-eyes-open sight picture. Tritium front and U-Dot rear iron sights serve as rugged co-witness backups should the optic ever come off, and the under-barrel accessory rail accepts lights or lasers for low-light duty or home-defense setups. Controls follow the modern striker-fired convention with a tactile reset and a clean, crisp trigger pull.

This package ships with two magazines: a flush-fit 17-round magazine for low-profile carry, and an extended 20-round magazine that brings the published capacity to 20+1.
