The Springfield Armory 1911 TRP Operator is a duty-grade semi-auto pistol chambered in .45 ACP and purpose-built for personal protection and serious sport use. This California-compliant variant carries the proven TRP Operator feature set in a configuration that meets CA roster requirements.

The pistol is built around a carbon steel frame finished in Black Armory Kote (Cerakote), paired with a long, serrated black carbon steel slide. A 5" stainless steel match-grade barrel provides tight lockup and consistent accuracy, while the single-action-only (SAO) trigger and ambidextrous thumb and grip safeties deliver the classic 1911 control layout. Black G10 grips offer a confident, textured hold under recoil.

For low-light work, the TRP Operator wears 3-Dot tritium night sights with an adjustable target rear. The frame also features an integrated Picatinny accessory rail for mounting a weapon light or laser, and an 18.5-lb recoil spring for reliable cycling with a range of .45 ACP loads.

This model ships from the factory with two (2) 7-round magazines, giving you a total capacity of 7+1. At 45 oz, the TRP Operator carries enough weight to manage .45 ACP recoil comfortably while still wearing well in a quality duty holster.
