Springfield Armory 1911 TRP Classic 45 ACP 5" 8+1 Semi-Auto Pistol - Black Cerakote

The Springfield Armory 1911 TRP Classic is a duty-grade 45 ACP single-action 1911 built for shooters who want a custom-shop feel in a production package. The TRP (Tactical Response Pistol) name reflects a heritage developed with input from law enforcement and professional users, and the Classic configuration brings that pedigree back to a full-size 5" slide and frame.

The 5" barrel is forged stainless steel and match grade, with a 1:16 rifling twist. The slide is forged carbon steel finished in Black Cerakote, cut with top serrations for reduced glare and confident press checks. It rides on a forged carbon steel frame, also finished in Black Cerakote, hand-fitted to the slide for tight, consistent lockup.

Capacity is 8+1 in 45 ACP through a single-stack magazine. The single-action-only trigger is a Gen 2 speed trigger, paired with an ambidextrous thumb safety for right- or left-hand operation. Control placement includes an extended beavertail grip safety for a high, secure hold, a two-piece magwell for fast, positive reloads, and 20 LPI checkering on the front strap for grip insurance under recoil.

Grips are VZ Hydra G10 panels, configured to keep the pistol planted in the hand during rapid strings. Made in the USA and built around the time-tested 1911 single-action platform, the TRP Classic is at home as a home-defense handgun, a duty pistol, or a range gun for shooters who appreciate the 1911's classic manual of arms.
