The Springfield Armory 1911 TRP in .45 ACP is a premium, hand-fitted 1911 built on a forged steel platform and engineered for duty-grade performance and match-grade accuracy. The TRP COA (Carry Optic Accessory) variant features a factory-milled Aimpoint A-CUT direct-mount pattern machined into the forged carbon steel slide, finished in a low-glare Black Cerakote. The slide rides on a forged steel frame with an extended beavertail grip safety and an ambi-thumb safety to promote a high, recoil-controlling hold.

At its core is a 5" forged stainless steel match-grade barrel with a 1:16" rate-of-twist optimized for .45 ACP ballistics. The pistol runs an 8+1 capacity and ships with three 8-round magazines. Night sights are standard for low-light defensive use, and an integrated Picatinny accessory rail on the dustcover accommodates a weapon light or laser. Overall length measures 8.6", height is 5.5", and the pistol weighs 39.2 oz.

Textured G10 grips deliver a confident, all-weather hold, while the crisp single-action trigger and the 1911's natural grip geometry make the TRP intuitive to shoot.
