Springfield Armory 1911 Operator AOS 45 ACP 5" 8+1 Semi-Auto Pistol

The Springfield Armory 1911 Operator AOS is a duty-grade, optics-ready evolution of the classic .45 ACP fighting pistol. Built around a 5" barrel and an 8+1 single-stack magazine, this Operator wears a Black Cerakote finish over a forged carbon steel slide and frame and ships ready for a red-dot optic on its AOS plate system.

The forged carbon steel slide is cut to accept the Agency Optic System (AOS) mounting plates and features aggressive forward cocking serrations for easy press checks and manipulations. An integral Picatinny accessory rail under the dust cover accepts weapon lights and lasers, and co-witness tritium front / Tactical Rack rear sights keep the gun on target whether the optic is mounted or removed.

Controls are set up for hard use: an ambidextrous thumb safety, a crisp single-action trigger, and a classic 1911 grip frame dressed with textured VZ G10 grip panels for a confident hold in any condition. The matching Black Cerakote finish protects the steel from wear, moisture, and holster drag.

This 5" Government-length configuration ships with two single-stack magazines with bumper pads and is offered in brand-new factory condition, ready for duty, defensive carry, or range use right out of the box.
