Springfield Armory 1911 Operator AOS .45 ACP 5.75" 8+1 Semi-Auto Pistol - OD Green Cerakote - Threaded

The Springfield Armory 1911 Operator AOS is a duty-grade .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol built on the legendary Government-size 1911 platform. This Operator AOS variant is finished in OD Green Cerakote over a forged carbon steel slide, and is paired with aggressive VZ G10 grips for confident handling in any condition.

Chambered in .45 ACP, the Operator AOS feeds from a single-stack magazine with an 8+1 capacity. The 5.75" barrel is forged from stainless steel and treated with a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating for outstanding wear and corrosion resistance. It is cut with a 1:16 twist rate suited to duty-grade .45 ACP projectiles, and the muzzle is threaded .578x28 for direct mounting of suppressors or compensators.

The slide is optic ready through Springfield's Agency Optic System (AOS), accepting a range of red-dot footprints via low-profile direct-mount plates. Co-witness night sights remain installed as backup iron sights. A short Picatinny accessory rail on the frame accepts weapon lights and lasers, and the slide's serrations reduce glare while aiding press checks and manipulations.

Built around a crisp single-action trigger, the Operator AOS carries the classic 1911 manual-of-arms with a grip safety and thumb safety. The extended threaded barrel and suppressor-ready muzzle make this Operator AOS well suited for tactical, defensive, and suppressed-carry roles.
